Dr Tim Roberts
Consultant Cardiologist

Biography
Tim completed his PhD through The University of Melbourne, assessing exercise performance and cardiopulmonary limitations in people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. His research has been published in leading international journals, and he has presented his work at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress and American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions. Tim was awarded the Australian Diabetes Society (ADS) President’s Young Investigator Award in 2016 at the ADS-ADEA Annual Scientific Meeting.
Tim is actively involved in clinical teaching of junior medical staff and is a Professional Development and Educational Supervisor of Basic Physician Trainees at St Vincent’s Hospital. Outside of work, Tim is an avid skier and outdoor adventurer, passionate traveller, out-of-practice violinist and devoted father to his two young daughters.
