Biography

Dr Ling is a cardiologist who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He performs complex mapping and catheter ablation for AF and VT. He established the complex arrhythmia ablation at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne. He also has appointments at the Alfred Hospital, Cabrini Malvern, and Peninsula Private Hospital. He has a special interest in the management of atrial fibrillation.

Dr Ling has extensive experience in interventional cardiac electrophysiology gathered from leading Australian and international centres, including the Alfred Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, and Europe’s largest cardiovascular centre – St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, UK.

Dr Ling is a medical researcher and PhD supervisor at the University of Melbourne. He was awarded a PhD in cardiac electrophysiology by the University of Melbourne. He is well-published and internationally recognised for his ongoing research on atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
